GUINEA PIG - one of the only mammals that does not synthesize vitamin C (ie needs to eat it or they will get scurvey) can you name the others?

cattlechick we had a thread about the boar busters in Ohio. They hunt wild pigs. Tough hobby!

as they said in the "old days" put that in your pipe and smoke it! (it seemed to fit but I don't know why!

I HERD HOGS IN OHIO WERE AROUND. NOT VERY MANY. I'VE NEVER SEEN ANY HEAR ON THE  RIVER AND OR IN GALLIA COUNTY. SEEN MUD WALLOWS BUT I NEVER SAW ONE. ALTHOUGH WHEN MY OLD MAN WAS CUTTIN TIMBER IN GALLIA COUNTY, HE SAID HE SAW ONE.BTW, I HEARD WILD HOGS TASTED BETTER THAN ANY TAME PIG. IS THAT TRUE.  (pop)

these guys were/are producers of the local NBC affiliate in san luis obispo CA.  don't know if they still do a show, but i have a friend that used to work at the studio, and they came out to her house and they did a seqment on getting chased off the property for fishin on private property by a chi wa wa or something.  funny to see two "nonconformist" looking guys run a tv station.
