We are looking for a steer or market heifer that would work for a July show. We are located in eastern Iowa, but would travel for the right calf. The steer or heifer would be shown by an experienced showman and would receive excellent care. In other words, you need to be willing to part with a really good one at a reasonable price--and in return we will give your calf the opportunity to develop to it's full potential. If you need a ton of money for one, we're probably not interested. ( We budget more$$ for breeding heifers...)  But if you have--or know of -- a good one that needs a home, send us a PM.

Josh Blackford blackfordshowcattle.com Has a really cool chromed up Paddy O Malley that was sold but is availible again. I have no further information on this steer except if I were not steer heavy he would be standing in my barn. Give Josh a call at 217-304-3343 if you would like further information.

Here is a picture of the full brother to a steer we have available.  I will try to get one of this years after the ice melts off of him.  The whole pen of calves got blasted for three days with 40+ mph winds.  This years calf is cleaner fronted and has a little more hip.
