I know you specified % Sim. What about purebreds? I have had good luck with NLC Upgrade and Grandmaster for cow makers.

Super nice calves!!

Anyone have any mature females, calf pics, mature steers out of him. There are a few pics of calves on lautners site but I am having trouble finding info.

Wondered if anyone could give me any insight. Scenario: Healthy 2nd calver, raised good calf last year, been vacinated, hay is good quality, gets Ampt A Mineral free choice, only thing done different in last few days is bedded with a few stalk bales. Cow had calf 32 days before due date (dead)...

Grandmaster, Bandwagon, Whizard, I also really like the Quantum Leap bull, and Shell Shocked just haven't seen many calves.

The Answer- He did really well for me and the calves grew well. Calves were all between 60 and 70 lbs

Forgot Wizard. I have seen some nice calves but no cows.

Upgrade would be my top pick. They will flat out grow and the daughters will milk. They do lack in eye appeal.
