    Baling corn stalks

    Almost all in our area are ground and mixed with prarie hay, alfalfa and corn sileage. They work well as a "filler" to winter cows. I think in years past some have used them for bedding....but thats a lot of $$$ for bedding. We usually buy ours and graze our stalks....I know we have bailed a few...

    We bought him from Goeken's, who I believe are co-owners of High Regard. He has grown up alot since the picture, he has added alot of frame...more than we were expecting. I can't say a dang thing for his calves yet, but this bull has the best disposition of any critter I have been around...
