Looked on liveauctions.tv had a $7000 top avg'd $22 and change.

I was not at the sale but bid on several heifers on the phone and they told me the fall born bulls averaged around $4500.  Sorry I can't be of more specific help.

Red bred heifers here in Eastern Iowa this spring were bringing $100 to $200 a head more.  Talk at the sale barn was that atleast they knew then they were getting british influence in them then.  Red cattle have been selling well here the last few years.

I think it hurts the conception rates especially with cidrs.  My past experience with cidrs at this time of the year with heat like this is not good, less than 50%.  Hope you have better luck than I did.  There is a reason they fall calve alot in the southern states.

The one heifer I have that was bred to Gauge calved with no troubles.  I know it was only one but from my experience I wouldn't be afraid to breed him to heifers, most any heifer could have had that calf and that seems to be more experience than most people have with him on here.  Some people...

Lot 13.  I wasn't there just what I was told.  I wished i would have been able to go but had to much going on at home to get away.  I have a few of the heifers but that is it.

Sounds like the sale went well.  Bulls averaged $4300 with a top of $11000.  I don't know what the heifers averaged for sure but it had to be close to  $2000.
