Mastitus is an infection that got in through the opening of the tit.  If it is mastitus Antibiotics will help you may have lost that quarter all ready your main goal now is to keep it from going to the other quarters.  Keep an eye on her and make sure the other tits stay milked out.

We have had cows that milk to hard for the size of calf and Mastitus is a possible problem.  Feel her bag if you can if any of her quarters are hot or hard that is probably the problem.

His pictures look really good, but it makes me wonder why they didn't take him to Denver when they had a stall.  It makes me think that he might have taken an exceptional picture and not be quit as good as the way the picture looks.

He was the best Char.X Bull in Denver for sure.  But he looked pretty small framed even for a June calf.  I think he would work well on pretty fronted cows that are a touch to big framed.

Bismarck  for sure I work on the Mill Brae Ranch in Kansas we had about 50 Bismarcks and about 30 CT this spring.  Both are definatly calving ease but the Bismarcks have more show appeal.  On the clubby bull I would use either Boardwalk or Monopoly Money.

Was wondering what bulls people are having trouble calving so far this Spring.

Had 5 one and only calves most look nice except for the one that was 140 lbs, dead, and cow hasn't got up yet.

Hope they breed simillar to Monopoly we have ET's coming by him out of Monopoly Money's Mother(New bull at Matt Lautner's). Monopoly Semen was 250 last year when we were flushing her and thought Boardwalk  looked like he would breed pretty similar.

I would rather my semen salesmen be honest and tell me the truth if their is conflicting reports rather then tell me nothing so that he can make a sale.  Don't believe it I don't care and maybe it turns out that he is clean and nobody is hurt.  I would rather just wait and make sure.  No need to...
