Overwhelming majority of judges talk structure on the mic, if they don't look at how they placed the class...most of the time the crippled ones aren't too high, if they are they have good reason to be
Not sure if any of you have watched any of the videos they have put up (they film the bulls at Denver for Cattle.com) but they do great work. Im truly impressed at the quality of the videos, head and shoulders above the rest of the guys out there filming cattle
I-80, who made who, irish whiskey, meyer 734, chopper, or lifeline...ive seen cows out of these bulls be productive females. However, if youre going to utilize an ET program you dont really need to worry about milking/maternal potential of those females which opens the door to anything
the 2 charolais were studs...chi was nice, aob was an absolute meat wagon. The gert was very impressive. Not a bad line up for hoge's possible last show.
Youre exactly right, he made a HUGE improvement on the Simmental breed. Largely in part to how much body and soundness he was able to pass on to his calves. (Something simmis needed). That's why I'm personally not a big fan of crossing him with angus...angus cattle already have plenty of body...
