We've used it on heifers and know of a few folks using it on steers in lieu of beet pulp.  Seems to do the trick.  We've been cautioned not to exceed the feeding recommendations though.  Con- 4% fat content, so we've had to pull one of the heifers off of it.

Mainegirl, how did your Outsider Calves turn out?  We had our first hit the ground 2 weeks ago.
