I've used JSF Gauge 137W in the past. Bred beautifully for me, progeny was mainly bull calves, of which we used two. Both bred well, the one so well that we swapped him back with the purchaser for another breeding stint. Unfortunately he succumbed to a tick-borne disease after his first breeding...
What an interesting sire line-up.
All four look to be top-drawer stuff, but "Fillet" has that extra bit of interest for me.

Best money I have spent! I have a fully DNA tested herd as of 2021 and had two anomalies in getting there:
1) A bull, yearling, must have jumped the fence once, as we had a calf by him when he wasn't with the breeding group.
2) We mixed up two red heifer calves by the same bull at tagging...
My opinion, although it sounds harsh, is to destroy the calf. In nature, had you not been there to intervene, the calf would have died. Highly unlikely this calf will recover.
At least the mother will breed back for a 2024 calf.

It would be very interesting to see these winners on the hook, then, even more interesting would be to do a steak evaluation test with them prepared by a competent steak chef.
