    Breeding Ideas ...

Really nice heifer and I think Gargan hit a lot of the good, black Clubby Maine options. I also think GCC Whizard could be a good maternal type pairing depending on which way you want to go with her.

9mos old bull still able to steer??

Speaking in absolutes like this is irresponsible. We have a baldy BIM cow out of a SimAngus cow that is one of the most docile, easy keeping females in our herd. In fact she just produced a really nice heifer out of our Maine clean up bull. That being said, I'd steer this calf. I don't think...

    What to breed heifer to?

Ali's Solution. She powerful and he'll give her calves a clean and showy look. Is she a carrier?

    I-80 Heifer

Since she isn't a carrier we'll probably go clubby with her to produce show steers. I would really like to breed her to the Meyer Meyer bull.

    I-80 Heifer

This is an I-80 heifer out of a Straight Angus Heifer. She just hit 10 weeks old. We are super pleased. She's correct, big boned, thick, and has hair like a yak in Florida. Opinions?

Shorthorn+/ PB Angus Steer - Opinions

It's a county show in Florida. Steers have to be bred, born, and raised in Hillsborough County. Like I said this is super bad picture of him. He's decently thick but lacks tons of muscle expression.

Shorthorn+/ PB Angus Steer - Opinions

Last year we breed about 20 cows to calve in November and December to produce show steers for our county show. We breed mostly to I-80 (first calf heifers) and Walks Alone. I was pretty sure that I would be showing a Walks Alone steer. However when it was all said and done the best calf we had...
