I had a buddy buy a bred heifer from Sandeen that was bred to her. Calf is nice, but tail head is to high and he looked to knock the frame and growth right out of her. He definitely needs to be used on bigger framed cows.

I just paid $63 for the last semen I had shipped, but have paid as high as $142. It all depends on carrier, how many day shipping and sometimes the person shipping charges you a rental fee for the shipping tank

Our finisher ration cost $360 today for a ton. It is made with roasted corn, oats, roasted beans, nutribase, steam rolled barley, cottenseed hull pellets, ccc, salt and vitamin e with some wet molasses

We make our own using nutribase and it is very similar to the showrite bagged feed, but it is $5 a hundred cheaper than buying the pre-mixed stuff directly from hubbard

Was told by a dairy guy that some IVF eggs can be thawed like a conventional egg. Anyone know if this is true or not? Our local vet will put conventional in but not IVF because of the thawing process

i have a steer that foundered. My question is will it change the taste of the meat? He wasn't a show steer just a feedlot steer. Thanks

For the people who have put in embryos. Do you get better conceptions with recip cows with right side cl's or left side cl's?  We seem to get a lot of cows with right side cl's but get very few of them to stick to an egg. Is this common or just one of those weird unexplainable things?

I went through Great Lakes Sire Service about a month ago and could go and see every bull there other than the ones getting collecting for international shipment.

Why don't you just register them as if you bred your own cows to broker if all you want is a registerable calf?

I am excited for all of ours but we had our 1st of the year today an et bull calf by steel force, we were hoping for a heifer but we have 1 more of them by the same mating coming. We also have an i80 x aubreys blaze eternal and quite a few fat butts and a combustible calf coming
