Should be SM218C That was what was on my invoice from Cattle Visions last fall.

I wouldn`t be afraid of him on a 2nd calf. The ones I`ve had were really nice calves with good dispositions. The heifer I kept was good mother and had a heifer by CCR Boulder that I also am keeping.

Optimizer is a good bull but he sometimes puts white in places you won`t like even out of a solid black cow. I`ve had good luck with Bandwagon.

What`s the opinion of some of you Shorthorn people on the Sull Red Sensation bull ? I`m not a Shorthorn pedigree guru so would he make some good stout show heifers that will go on to be good cows in your opinion ?

We used CCR Santa Fe on an I-80 heifer The calf was 10 days early but a very spunky little heifer that's growing well.

Just wanted to bring this back up. Should be calves on the ground by now.

I see the price went from $45 to $100 a straw on Cattle Visions. Did something happen to him or is he just that popular that they raised the price ? I was thinking about using him but just not sure at $100 a straw now.

Looks like he may be a good heifer bull by his EPD`s . How do the calves look though ? Pictures if you`ve got them. Thanks
