    first and goal

Only use him on your cows that can handle having a calf 15-20 pounds heavier than your average weight calf. Ours have ranged from 85-110 pounds out of 1600-2000# Angus cows. If you enjoy showing cattle and like to see improvement on the dam, this bull will not disappoint you. We have a 1750#...

    Breeding Suggestions

Connealy Confidence 0100, Hoover Dam, and The Answer would be my three choices if you do choose to go the Angus route. EXAR Upshot will likely leave you wanting more in the rear 1/3. Duff Hobart does appear to be a calving ease bull on paper. We just pulled an 87 pounder by Hobart out the side...

    Flush Option for Angus Cow?

That cow is beyond beautiful! Dameron C-5 American Classic. They will be beautiful and very marketable! Get 30 eggs on the first flush and call with a nice deal on the purchase of five eggs.

Silveiras style is he heifer safe?

DDA Dameron Northern Light deserves a good look if the show ring is what you have in mind. He is a Brilliance son out of a beautiful Northern Miss female. He is very closely related to First Impression.

Silveiras style is he heifer safe?

My opinion would be not to use him on heifers. We have had some pretty big calves out of him. They are usually plenty block shaped and wide through the the thurl/rump region as well at birth. We have not had a problem using Silveiras Watchout on heifers. He is a BC Lookout son out of Style's...

    Large Clippers

Andis Progress clipper is wonderful! Lightweight, smaller grip, quiet, very little vibration, and blades do not heat up.  $280.  They are delightful!

    Lame cattle

Check into laminitis. I know of a few of us in southern Wisconsin and northern Illinois that have first experienced this in the past three weeks. It was suggested to us that it can be from grazing on these lush green pastures that have gotten so much rain this summer.

    PB Angus breeding

Yes indeed, BlkAngus, I would not use this bull on a cow that will have trouble pushing out a 95 pounder. Our four by this bull all came unassisted at 105, 95, 90, and 90 pounds. The rest of our Angus calves came between 65 and 85 pounds. That being said, they are very impressive calves next to...

    PB Angus breeding

If you decide to stay Angus, look into SCC First-N-Goal GAF 114 from Select Sires. This bull really adds rib and bone! His calves should start appearing at shows this year. I feel that he would mate very well with that cow.

Who should I breed my PB Angus HEIFER to (pic)

O'Reilly Factor- good choice! Dameron First Impression is my other thought.
