I saw him last fall and again right before he sold. The breeders wife had him running with the wrong species. I think at first that bull wasn't sure what he was, hee haw. Turned into quite the stud though, super sound.
If you go to www.hereford.org and click on HW magazine at the top it will open this months issue. The bull calf is about 18 pages deep, his name is 20/20 vision...ramona's picture is on the right side.
PR 144U Ramona 0003 is a bailout daughter owned by langfords. There is a pic of her in this months hereford world advertising a son of hers 20/20 Vision. Nice looking cow!
I also heard the high dollar cow from starlake went to Pennsylvania. The family's name is the same as one of sullivans guys. Not sure if there is any relation there though. Thats what I heard anyway, from the guy doing the bidding for the family.
This year we gave the the TAI a shot just due to convenience. After seeing all the orange tags when we turned the bull out for the next cycle, I will be going back to watching for heats!!!!
Gonadotropin releasing hormone...So you guys that give the extra shot, do you do it in part with a Timed AI or everytime? Even when observing standing heats?
A Step Up
I've got 20 straws of A Step Up, that I'm not going to be using. He is a Grandmaster on a Macho daughter. PM me and make me an offer. No longer have any simmy cows and would like to sell it.
