It does happen. Last year was the first time I had ever seen it. No chance of bull bred in our case.  The recip and herd bull were Red Angus, calves were solid black.

I would have to agree with DL.  If its been 3 months and she is getting worse every day, you're probably better off kicking her out of the show string. 

I agree with AAOK.  Take the time and break it yourself. 

All depends on finding the right person that wants your bred.  You take her to any sale barn in Iowa, and you wont bring anwhere near that price. 

Raptor is a good choice to use on heifers.  Calves come easy and have a pretty good look to them.

I wouldn't use him on any heifers, especially clubby ones.  Stick with an angus bull or another calving ease bull, get a calf the first time. Then look clubby.

That is the same cow as the one you asked about a few days ago that he said was sold.  (lol) 

We used High Voltage this year on heifers including a smaller framed, clubbier heifer and they all came pretty small but they got up and went after it.
