We wrap them dry and feed them free choice next to the hay.  Cows come running from the hay to get a cornstalk bale.  Works really well.  I think it is best to feed free choice so the rumen does not get screwed up going back and forth.

Thanks, I really think this guy is hairy enough that he could run with the crossbreds in the bigger shows, where a herf with this look would be appreciated.

This is a full sib steer to the above heifer.  They are both PB Hereford with papers.  This steer will compete with the highest level of Herefords anywhere.  Check him out, he also sells.

LeGrand Reload x DSUL Miss Summit 445P Sells in her entirity this Thursday on Breeders World.  I was told yesterday that this heifer is better than the full sib in blood that Sullivans sold for $16500 earlier this fall.  What you think? Sale link below...

Thanks for the comments.  The Heat Wave, I agree looked a little mad.  She has already been showed a couple times, so I think she was just having a bad day. All cattle are halter broke and most cattle are broke to lead.  I encourage anyone to come out and take a look. <beer>
