    Is it possible......

Or, instead of criticizing you, maybe some more ideas would be more helpful? Try making her walk backwards (after untying her from the truck). It is harder for them to plant themselves and not budge.  Also lead her in tight circles in each direction. Again pulling in a way that she can not...

    Strange Scenario...

"The main question at hand was why a heifer would be showing NO signs of being the slightest bit ready to calve...no swelling of the vulva, no udder, nuthing" Because she was NOT READY TO CALVE. Now the heifer may be shipped because she was induced before she began to dialate. It is assumed...

    Defect or just tough luck?

May be white muscle disease.  try selenium.  We had one just like that and I was told that was what it was.  The cow stepped on the calf and broke one of its front legs before we could see if the BO-SE would work.

    Nutt-N-Butt Business

use on smaller framed angus cows.  You shouldn't have calving problems, but I don't use him on heifers.  Hope for replacement heifers, but the steers will out gain most anything.  Some times OLD SCHOOL = PROVEN...

    Synchronize Estrus for AIing

That's what I am saying, 10% is pitiful.  We get 80% or better on cows that show a heat, 10% on cows time bred because they didn't show a heat.  On your 4 you are out $100, but if I do it the way you are I would be out well over $1000.  The nice thing about synchronizing is the ability to make...
