Curious if any one has opinions on the bull. I believe he did well at Denver. There are semen packages coming north of the border. How tall is he, how thick is he through the hind quarter? Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thank you

We wondered about Lot 10. He looked like the heaviest muscled bull in the pictures and video. We just weren't sure on the way he wasn't flexing his hock in the video. Not being able to see him in person, we decided to pass on him. He must not have moved too bad though, to still bring over $4000.

I didn't write anything down and didn't watch the whole sale. But I believe Lot 28 sold to a syndicate where Cates get possession and a bunch of breeders get a semen package. I don't recall who bought Lot 13. 

We thought the sale went really well. The Lot 2 bull we liked went to Semex, so we will probably be able to use him anyway. We bought the Lot 6 bull, thought he had as good of weights and scan data as any bull in the sale.

Lot 5 is listed as a DS Carrier this morning on their website. That's a little disappointing. Lot 2 is supposed to have a lot of interest. So maybe Lot 6 is my pick now. There are multiple carriers, wonder if it will affect the sale any?

There seems to be some differences in the scan data from The pen show and the scan data done at the farm and posted on their website. Lot 6, for example, lost 3" of REA but gained almost a full point IMF. I think the scans were only days apart. Is this not a bit too much of a difference, or did...

Thanks for the replies. The bulls you like are unique Mark. I like the looks of lot 2 and 5. They are fairly similar in their look and numbers. Both had bw's in the 70's, frame 5, 4 or higher IMF and respectable YW's for their frame size. Both were in the top pen of 3 at Denver. I wasn't overly...

Anyone have any thoughts on the bulls in Jungel's sale? Did anyone see them in the Pen show at Denver? 

Just wondering what people thought of the upcoming sale?  We are quite impressed with the catalog.  Looks like enough numbers that there should be some reasonably priced cows.  Will that be the case?  Could a guy get a small group of decent $3000 cows?  Thanks
