    Maine Bulls

Just wondering what maine bulls people like for making heifers that milk well and are still phenotypically appealing (stout, hairy, good structure etc.). Our I-80s look great but does anyone know how they milk? Thanks.

    Question for the mechanics.

Is what you are talking about on the pump itself or back at the rear axles? The other hydrolics work fine. I can lift our disc mower arm up fine with no problems, its just that the arms on the hitch take about 1-2 minutes to fully raise up, doesnt matter if I increase the rpms or not. Thanks so...

    Question for the mechanics.

I have a JD 4240 that takes forever for the three point hitch to raise, at least a lot longer than it should. Hydrolics fluid is ok and im pretty sure the pump is ok, any othee suggestions on what it could be? Thanks.

I have a calf that im not sure whether he is double muscled or not. Is this something that can be tested with a hair sample or blood sample, and if so where could i have it tested at. What problems would i run into if i used him to breed some angus cows next year. I hate to throw him away cause...

    The Maine Man bull

She has had some calves do well. kinda excited about this guy.  I have seen some really good I-80's too so i dont know what to do...

    Dead Calves, HELP.

I dont know what the deal is i dont know whether its coincidence or what but here is a little background. We have about ten calves or so on the ground and they are all fine except our ET calves. 3 of our 4 embryo calves have been fine one day and dead the next. Granted they have been HUGE calves...

    Heatseeker

Agreed, i think most of them will be around that 80 to 90lbs range. You will here of some huge one here and there, but thats with any bull. I have had 110lb calves out of proven calving ease angus bulls.

    Simple Math calves

Well, I had my first Simple Math calf this morning. He was about a 90lb solid black bull calf out of a 3/8 Habanero daughter. I am pretty impressed so far for a day old calf. He is very stout, big boned, and very hairy.

    what bull to use

Really like the Majors Money Man cattle, come easy and just get better with age, and used to use Witch Doctor on all the heifers back in the day.
