I have one out of a purebred shorthorn I will try and get a new picture. looks to have lots of bone and width.

Calf sired by hi ho silver out of a shorthorn cow. Was hoping for more coler but overall a pretty nice calf.

What is everyone ones experience with this bull? Is he safe to use on mature cows? Looks like all the calves he has registered are good sized with some monsters thrown in there. Getting ready to breed in a couple weeks and have access to some semen on him as well as damn proud.

Thanks Mark that calf is really green. He has only been washed twice and been on feed for 3 weeks. He is going to be a solid calf just don't have a big name but would like to get a little more than market price. I have always liked to buy calves back when we were in the market out of the pasture...

I live in northwest oh and have some calves that would work for you. Only have a few cows and raise calves for my kids. My son is done showing this year and has a Believe in me shorthorn cross steer and also a sull payday heifer that would both be under 2000. let me know if your interested 

Sav Brilliance seems like a good option. used him on a walks alone heifer and it came small and lively in -20 weather. Seems to be a pretty complete calf

I had a walks alone heifer  out of a shorthorn main cow this week reasonable birth weight and looks to be a pretty good calf
