    Steer wont eat new feed!

    Update......As of last night, they are eating the feed like crazy and eating every last drop and i even gave them a shot B12.  The fair that we are going to is the Mississippi State Fair!  I cant wait!!!  I havent been in over 14 years!!

    Our feedmill that has been mixing our feed was out of corn and had a part broke,  So we had to go to another feedmill.  We were told by one of the well known show cattle farmers in our county to try there mix so thats what i bought.  I had to get a 1000 lbs minimum and now my steer will not...

    The whole reason I took the rope halter off was because it rubbed a site in his nose and it looked to tight and he stopped eating! When I switched to the chain halter, the chain didnt even touch the under part if his chin unless he pulled, so I thought that was better for him! We are taking him...

    Thank y'all so much for your help!  I'm fixing to take it off now!  I know there is a purple medicated spray that people have used for wounds,(can't remeber the name if it) but should I out some of that on his wounds also?
