    What to breed Monopolys too?

I have just recently seen a picture of a Monoply X Ali cross and it was really nice.  Clean neck, lots of body and hair.

    Losing hair

I would avoid using a grill block. Hair has a 90 day life cylce and you will have to remove dead hair.  One of the best things to use is a tool that dog groomers use.  It's a shedding tool and you can find them at most pet supply.  Or Sullivans has a type of shedding blade. ...

    hypothetical show situation

I would rather see the showmanship class be the fit class and then the market class be the blow and show.  I think that fitting is a part of showing your animal at it's best and the market class should be based on what your animal truly looks like.

    Another pig question

Do you hand feed or use a self feeder?  We have used a self feeder and have had a lot of success.  We hand feed until the initial weigh in then use the self feeder until they reach 125 -150 lbs (well depending on the date) then return to hand feeding.

    WANTED: COW-CALF PAIR

I appreciate all of your responses.  We have showed angus in the past and would be interested.  Also breed in itself isn't necessarily a requirement.  If any of you have pictures I would really appreciate that.  The biggest thing is the fact that the animal is a show animal and has been shown...

    Another pig question

We have never added milk but know of others who have and this helps to add weight in a short period of time.  Our fair is a week prior to yours and at this time we would want our pigs in the 60-70lbs area.

    WANTED: COW-CALF PAIR

As far as cost -- I guess it depends on what type of pair it is.  Cross bred is fine.  We are looking for a showy animal, not necessarily state fair material, but something that is going to do well at a county fair.  It is for a new showperson.

    Some begginer questions

I don't know if  pigs are born with teeth, but we have never had newborns.  I believe they usually have all of their teeth by 2-3 months.  Generally when they are sort of "jumping" they are playing or trying to see if you have any food.  Pigs are on the most part very friendly and very, very...

    WANTED: COW-CALF PAIR

I am interested in purchasing a cow-calf pair.  A show cow, one that has been shown before, preferrably, but not necessarily required.    I live in Wisconsin but would be willing to travel if the right animals were to be available.  THANKS!
