If you dont mind a 3/4 bull, I think Primary Candidate will have a place in making solid commercial replacements that can work in both worlds.
The calf we had born this spring will be kept as a cleanup bull for the sole purpose of creating replacement females.
PC goes back 3 generations to 1st calf heifers FWIW.
Definitely agree with DSC, very impressive mature bull in person.
There is a slick picture on Facebook through one of the owners (Justin Johnson) right now, slick or haired up, that things is quite the bull.
1st question would be, how long did the pig have that temp of 106? What did the vet give? Anytime we have pneumonia, we run Pulmotil through the water according to label for 3 days.
Some of these pigs will come out of it, some just end up looking like pot bellied things and never get over the...
I would tend to disagree with you when it comes to power and weight in a breeding class. Power is a necessary evil when it comes to cattle. Do we need breeding heifers that have a HW quarter and top, no, but in my mind, they should have enough to them, that you can look at them and think that...

Decided I needed a bigger trailer.
Depending on what part of the east you are from, Umbarger usually has pretty good representation on dealers.
They have a great line of lamb feeds, pretty popular as well. Look them up.
The biggest concern I would have is why was he orphaned? Did the dam die while having him? Was he a big calf?
Also, what breed is he? What did he look like when he was born? Another thought is, when bulls get to where they like to come up and be babied, they are really dangerous.
I have heard...
Have they ever had them done before?
If not, I would recommend that you go ahead and get it done now, and then repeat at least 3 weeks prior to your show.
