This is the first year we will have a sizable amount of spring horns to break to be available for sale in the fall. I was just wondering how everyone goes about breaking calves, when they start and when they wean.
Thanks in advance!
Going around to shows I've seen a lot of after market side ramps built onto people's trailers off the side escape door. I was wondering if anybody on here had and plans on how to make one that is light and functional or knew how to.
Thanks!
The ones that I have seen have been very attractive and cool fronted with adequate depth of body and stoutness. The thing that I don't like is that the Heads Up calves tend to be shorter hipped and tighter flanked. I would use him to add dimension to your flatter made more common cows.
i used a pair of 5 speeds at a show. the next day went and traded my 2 speeds in for 5 speeds just because i liked them so much. to me they are lighter and more powerful than the 2 speeds. id say definitely worth the extra money
