Can I do anything to help this calf?

Well- thanks for all the suggestions-  It hasn't turned out like we hoped.  The heifer kept kicking at her calf and was just plain mean to it.  After several days we have put the calf with a nurse cow- but now, the calf won't even suck on her so we are milking the nurse cow and bottle feeding...

her bag is not that big- she just acts like she wants nothing to do with it.  After school tomorrow I will try to get her in the chute again and see how it goes- it's just so sad.

Can I do anything to help this calf?

This baby calf was born Saturday but his momma is a heifer and won't let him nurse.  Every time he gets near her she kicks at him.  We did put her in a chute yesterday and let the calf nurse good, then hobbled her and turned her out with the calf  but by this morning she had kicked the rope off...

I had to call them to find out- this is it.  The sire is G13 structure and the dam is double bred scotch cap with leachman and traveler- hope I typed it right.

registered angus heifer-should I show her

I have had fun with her so far.  It's fun to be able to halterbreak one all by myself- my dad has to help with the steers at first, but if she tries to set back I can hold her so easy since she's small.  And it doesn't hurt when she steps on my foot!!

She doesn't have alot of hair and all of the ones that I've seen in their angus magazines seem to have alot of hair.  Will she get mor hair as she gets a little older?

registered angus heifer-should I show her

My grandparents raise registered angus cattle and I have been halterbreaking one of their heifers.  I have only showed steers in the past and was wondering what everyone thought about this little girl.  Please be honest.

    why can't I post pics?

I'm new here and want to post pictures of 3 steers that I'm trying to pick from but the post won't show up.  When I tried to do it for the second time it said I had already posted this but it never showed up.  What am I doing wrong?
