We have a 6-month-old Holstein calf that was castrated a month ago. No issues, pretty standard. Last night we noticed a swelling in his scrotum and think it might be a hernia. He is walking, eating, playing, gaining perfectly. Our fair is in a month. Are we out? Suggestions?
What are the basics of showing dairy feeders? We have shown fats in the past, but are trying something new. Do you still rinse and blow them out? Do you show with a stick? No hay? Front feet set and 1 back leg forward?
