Who was the judge

LIMESTONE DARKHORSE we had 3 bull calves out of first calve heifers in 2012  all were around 70 lbs.  Real nice calves kept one as bull sold the other two for 1500.00

Anybody have any heifer results from yesterday show

DENVER or YELLOW JACKET would be my pick.

Anybody have the results of the show that was in Michigan this weekend.  I believe steers show on Saturday and heifers Sunday.

Going out to Pryor sale not sure how much room we will have on the trailer.  If we got room can haul them to Ft. Wayne area for ya.

My Turn'S have alot of get up and go.  Had like ten last year no probs with none of them most out of second calf heifers. 

Thanks all crosses or was a couple of them breed steers.  How was Clay!s ring he had the heifer classes that were more then ten all confussed the way he was setting them up .  I was lost looked like the showmen were and the ring guys also.

Anybody know the steer results.  We were there for the heifers Saturday and came home. 

The best and cheapest thing i have found to use on calves that kick is chickens.  No joke just let some chickens run with your calves in a lot or barn calves will stop kicking in no time.

One thing we have had really good luck with getting cows to claim and lick calves dry.  As soon as the calf is born and the cow gets up if  laying down throw some mineral or some type of feed on the calf.  Are cows nearly lick the hide clear off of them.
