Her dams BW EPD is a 3.6 she is out of ace of diamonds and goes back to trump on the other side. 

The eye candy cow was half shorthorn.  We are going to cut him for one of the girls to show as a steer.  The payday heifer was 100# but still came pretty easy.

First is a purebred limousin heifer. She is out of Unreal and a Deuce first calf heifer. Second blk and white calf is a Breathe Easy bull calf out of an Eye Candy first calf heifer.

I bought some 'empower' stabilized rice bran 22% fat.  Ditched the protein supplement. And am letting him eat as much grain as he will.  He ate 28# yesterday. I also poured him with cydectin.  I will continue to weigh him and at the same time of day.  Thanks to all of you for all your help. I...

I have increased his feed and will take him off the m-n-m.  I will pour him with cydectin tonight.  Gonna weigh him this weekend and hopefully he has done a little gaining. 

It was the same scale. We have one at the farm.  Honestly I'm feeding the top dress because that's what the rep from show rite recommended.  He is getting 16 oz a day of the m-n-m.

He is at 1120#.  County fair is Aug 6th. State fair is Aug 21st.  The pic attached was taken today.  I think he needs to put more weight on just starting to get the fat pockets by tail head.

My daughters steer (purebred shorthorn) has not gained any weight in the last 31 days.  We had a lot of trouble with him bloating and not eating for a couple months but we finally got that under control.  We had to take him off grain for 1 week and feed only grass hay.  Then we started him back...

He is out of JSF Believer which is a JPJ son.  His dam is out of SULL Salute and does have Vegas a few generations back.

We will be having the hoof trimmer come out in July to do all the show cattle.  I am hoping with some more weight his hind end will get a bit thicker.

I have a March 2013 Monopoly Money heifer that is out of an Angus/Meyer 734 Dam.  She is pretty short and coarse fronted.  I am looking for a bull to use on her so that i have a live calf and cow.  Not as concerned about what the calf looks like the first year.  She is also a TH carrier.
