We have used A&T Renegade on our heifers last year and were impressed with the calves, came unassisted in 10 minutes and hit the ground vigorous and growing well!

Here is a June 2nd, 2014 75% Simmi steer that I bred and sold to a local 4H family last year. He is out of Uno Mas on a Mo Better foundation female. Weighing approximately 1375. Let me know what you think of him? We will have a full brother to him for sale this fall, keep and eye out for him.

I agree with the Simm x Shorthorn cross we have had some calves perform well and finish well out of that cross. Thats the way I am directing our plus program. Here is a pic of a Plus steer we raised out of Ace of Diamonds and a foundation simm.

Thanks for the input. I sold the calf to a local 4H'er but had told her she needs to be getting him rinsed twice a day and work that hair with the rice root brush, and get him under fans. Thanks were excited to see the potential of this calf, and make a decision whether to sell him as breeding bull or steer him. We will see what the future brings to help make a decision.

Here is our home raised ShorthornPlus steer, he is a June 21st calf out of Ace of Diamonds on a Foundation Simmental (Mo Better) as of two weeks ago he weighed at 850 lbs. Let me know what you think of him. Thanks in advance.
