we gave the calf milk replacer a day after he was born. He was sucking the first day so im sure he got all of the colostrum. he wont off the teat so that is when we milked out the cow bc the calf would not suck

we feed corn silage and good hay all winter and due to the rough winter they have been eating the hell out of it

we have had two set of twin this year so far and we have about 30 more head to calf yet and a majority of the calves we have had are a tick on the bigger side. was wondering if anyone else if having anything like this going on this year whether it be twins this year or bigger calves. Thanks.

When you detect a cow in heat and you want to put in an egg you do it a week after she was in heat. When determining her due date, do u go by the day she was in standing heat or the day that the egg was put in?

we had a Gunslinger heifer calf out of a heifer and it is the best calf we have had so far. She had her without any assistance and she weighed 75-80 lbs.
