    Coon footed steer

    Is there anything that can be done for a steer that is coon footed.  I've never heard the term before but it refers to a steer with really weak pasterns.  Any advice would help. Thanks

    Predictability

    What base set of cows gives you the most predictability of having a sellable show calf when using clubby bulls?  Angus, Sim/Angus, Balancer, others????  I would like to stay away from clubby cows and just use clubby bulls.  Thanks in advance for your input.

    Melatonin implants

    Feed Recommendation

    We are only feeding 1 steer next year. Usually we mix our own custom ration, but the mill requires a 1 ton minimum which would probably not stay fresh long enough since we are only feeding 1 steer.  Therefore, we are going to feed a commercial ration.  Which one is the best and most affordable...

    PowerChamp and joint swelling

    Has anyone had any problems with Powerchamp?  I have a  steer on it and he has started swelling in his brisket and hocks.  He was a sound steer before I started using it.  Also have noticed a change in disposition. Plus, I am only feeding 6 ounces per day.
