OK so here is my problem. My next door neighbor is the Federal National Forest about three thousand acres of it, and in the last 2 weeks the deer have discovered our hay field planted to wheat and clover. There are herds of them in there every evening from about 7pm till daylight and are grazing...

Just went to feed calves and noticed that one of our bull calves about 500lbs had rectal prolapsed... We have a call into the vet and are waiting for them to call me back.  Just wondering if anyone else has had this happen? Or has any advice on the situation.

I am curious.. I live in the US and if I were to buy a Reg. Angus female in Canada could I register her calves with the American Angus Association?

Feeding the Fall Bull Calves tonight I snapped a quick pic on this guy. He is a Lim-Flex 33% out of our herd bull (EXAR Spartan Son) and a Naskar Cow. What are your thoughts and opinions of him? P.S. I know its not the best pic and I will try to get one with his head out of the trough soon.

I am not an expert when it comes to clipping cattle, but after a few years of trial and error I have gotten acceptable at clipping most of the calf. My weakest area is clipping and blending necks and front shoulders and was wondering if anyone has any tips or tricks to make this job easier...
