    Beefmaster steer

    We have this beefmaster steer we are going to show in two weeks. He is gaining 2.6 pounds per day and eating 26 pounds a day. If he keeps this up, he will weigh around 1330 at the show. We would appreciate any feedback, constructive criticism, etc. Thanks!

    Beefmaster Genetics?

    We have a purebred beefmaster calf we got from a breeder back in November and he has an indent in the center of his spine. Is this natural for beefmaster? What is it? We’ve never had beefmaster a before so if you could tell us if it’s genetic that would really help us out! Thank you!

    Best time to castrate steer

    In our pasture, we have a calf that is almost 1 month old. He is the one that was picked for a show steer at our local county fair. What we were curious about- When is the best time to castrate him? Thanks!

    Steer fat around tailhead

    I have a show steer that has softball sized pockets of fat on the sides of his tailhead. It looks really ugly and I wanted to know if there is a way to get rid of them. I've done some research but I haven't found much. Please help. Thanks!
