Just curious, what breed were the Irish "shorthorns" that were brought over, I thought I read somewhere on SP that there was some Galloway infusion in the past during one of the  world wars but I thought those still consisted of mainly high percentage shorthorns.

Why does the CSA not consider full blood Maines 3/4 shorthorns like the ASA? that is a tough mountain to climb, I showed a heifer this past show season, she was born april 17 and she just couldn't quite compete with those older heifers. I ended up pushing her a little to hard and now i kind of regret it. Your heifer looks good though.
