    Best Deal you've found!

Northern Legend 3N would be the easy winner for me.  He set the bar high for thickness, disposition, and fleshing ability, while being my first bull in the Shorthorn business. He has also been a door opener to getting to know some great people both in North America and Australia as well.

    just bull pictures, nothing controversial

OH Breeder I don't think your point about the Good Head is strange at all. Good headed cattle is just one of the things I like about the Saskvalley program. I don't believe a herd of alligator headed cattle could accomplish what these cattle Do, with what they are provided to do it. Thanks...

What do you mean no commercial shorthorns?

no big mystery here folks, buy cattle from people who raise them the way you want to. If the working corrals are 6 feet high and made of drill stem don't expect to get away with anything less. If your foundation or replacement stock comes from someone who feeds less than you would, who messes...

    Northern Shorthorns Herd Bull

If you want I could continue in what each cow family has done and how I selected them either individually or as a family unit with or without pictures.   Jamie I have no question of your ability to breed good cattle; however I would be delighted as I am sure some others would as well if you...

    Shorty Folks

Most of you on SP will have more calves born before lunch than I will have in an entire season. All of the cows that I have currently are 99% +.  As AJ and JIT have mentioned, some of mine have some Irish, Australian, and Enticer.  When I began gathering up a few Shorthorn cows my goal was to...

Blizzard Worries in Tex Panhandle with a question?

We are in day 3 of this fine stuff in Friendly Manitoba.  Days like this I am glad that I don't have hundreds of calves to try to keep dry.  Thankfully it is only 6 below freezing.

    Northern Legend

You can see several Northern Legend offspring on this page on the Diamond website,  http://diamondshorthorns.com/shows.html. We had a cow push out a Northern Legend heifer this morning within 5 minute of when she lay down. Earlier in the week we had an 86 pounder from a second calver.
