But those "angus" steers sired by monopoly are not breaking any rules. It doesn't matter what there pedigree is they fit the classification. To me it would seem the real problem is that the guidelines for classifications are a little off. If a monopoly steer ever makes into angus they are not...

In arkansas all shows are just classified by weight. Seems to be the easiest thing to do...

Looks to be a great steer, in a heifer you are looking to make them look as long and feminine as can be, with a steer you want to maintain as much hind quarter and shoulder mass while keeping his middle and top line balanced out to make that complete package look.

I don't believe a Sraw of semen is enough, for cloning they collect a cell line from the calfs ear. Not 100% on this but I don't think this is even possible.

Iv been thinking just a low birth weight angus, with her clubby genetics and size I don't want to ruin her on her first calf, but I still got a few months to think about that! Snapped a pic of her in the pasture today, thought she was looking more and more like a cow instead of a steer

What ended up happening with this steer?

I use cydectin pour on with mine, it is oil based so it wont burn them. I pour it on once a month then wash it off the next day, haven't had any problems with it.
