We are changing our herd away from Shorthorn

I made the same transition, away from shorthorns.  Best decision I ever made financially.  Raised a couple of national champion females in the 90's as a teenager-early 20's.  They where home raised genetics with little investment.  Now I raise show steers and maine-angus and sim-angus cattle. ...

    Reimann's Dispersal

If a person has any questions about the cows call Jake Lee.  He knows those cows better than anybody, probably including Nick.  Jake made all the breeding decisions for the last several years, except for maybe what they flushed the donors to at yackley's.

There again the big picture....  Think my first post was that I actually had used the bull....  two years in a row.  Had calves that were soft, sound and soggy.  What is your idea of better cattle?

LMAO!!!!  curious what your idea of progressive is....?  I know what mine is...  profitablility.  If a bull can ad dollars to my calf crop then there is a place for him in the shorthorn breed.  Guess if I prefer not to stack ten generations of trump or breed solid red shorthorn feeder cattle...

Maybe he breeds long strided and super flexible!!  you probably wouldnt like him because he doesn't breed cat assed, solid red, and crooked legged.

Really like this bull.  I had a few last year and a half dozen this year.  If you like them sound soft and hairy, he's the best option I have found.  Do have to watch the fronts on them though.  Better breed him to a long necked one.  Would not recomend for heifers.  Had one last night out of a...

    Maternal Perfection

don't know of a video, but seen him at hawkeye.  Not a huge fan.  Had the that ugly whiskey head that some can have and a little bold fronted for me I thought.  Thought friskey whiskey looked real good though.
