When the Composite division was created, initially only animals with one purebred parent were allowed, limiting its usefulness.  That has been changed a couple years ago and now composite to composite matings are allowed as long as 50% Charolais is maintained.

We haven't tested this bull, but certainly would if someone needs that information.  He is PHA free given clean parents, and TH is the only question.  Early we thought he was probably clean given his size, but after coming off a poor recip he has haired up and put on weight and it isn't as clear...
