    Cow Cam Problem

Hoping that some of you Cow Cam veterans could help me out here... We have had a wireless camera system for going on to three years now, never really had issues with it. This summer though, we started having problems with some interference on the tv screen, so two days ago we were trying to...

    Barn Cam Upgrade needed

We are from Sask as well, we bought a camera system last year from Allen Leigh Security & Communications out of Manitoba. www.allenleigh.ca  They were fantastic to deal with and very helpful. The cameras are great too (we installed a pan/tilt/zoom outside to watch close cows and a pan/tilt in...

    Photography - "Fixing pictures"

As far as Canadian bull sale bulls go. If you are buying bulls sight unseen it really is not in the sellers best interest to change the animal itself in any way. I mean really if you send a customer a bull that isn't like the one in the picture you are only asking for trouble for yourself. For...

    Importing/Exporting Embryo Question.

I was just wondering if anyone knew for sure whether the semen used in a flush for Canada has to be Canadian qualified semen? Or does the semen really make a difference when importing embryos from the US into Canada?

    Flush Protocall

The Donors get 8 shots in varying amounts 1 every 12 hours. Ending day 9 in the AM.  The dosages are tailored to each donor and vary. They also vary between embryologists. So best to see what your embryologist prefers and recommends.  Hope this helps. I wouldn't really attempt anything without...

    Aluminum stock trailers

The biggest draw back for me on the featherlites is the sliding back door. I don't like the way it slides on the inside of the trailer, cattle always seem to be leaning on it when you try to open or close it. Also if there is any manure build up it has the same effect.

    Aluminum stock trailers

We were on the hunt for a new trailer last fall and ended up with a Duralite 25' aluminum trailer. Spec wise they are very comparable to a wilson stampede model. they are definatly  worth looking into, we saved alot of money. I just checked Kramers auction web site(north Battlefords sask) and...

    Drinking water at shows

Try to make sure the water isn't ice cold from the tap. Let it sit in the bucket for a while to let it warm up a bit may help. Have also heard of people putting strawberry jello powder in the water to cover up any chlorine smell and make it all taste the same. You could also try an inline water...
