Here is a Smilin Bob calf picture Kevin Heath in Nebraska sent me taken from his phone, his comment to me was  "the older they get the better they get" Kevin also told me he thinks this bob calf this  was as good as any he has raised, Kevin has raised many champions across the nation.

The oldest Bob pictured had the same tight hair when he was about 1 week old and grew out of it, I have seen as many tight haired Heat Waves and Monoply's  many of them seem to grow out of it. One of the best breeders in the country told me " If that is his only problem I can live with that "
