    Seger won county!

My son won grand champion market steer at our county fair, which is not easy to do.  We have some very good steers here.  I just want to say thanks to everyone for their thoughts and advice, not to mention the Hall of Fame discussions.  I learned a lot on this board, and now my kid is bugging...

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

My son went to feed his steer this evening and found what looked like a tooth in the feeder.  I didn't get a pic, and the boy lost it.  I don't think I could adequately describe it if I tried.  Can someone direct me to a site or book that will give me some information about bovine teeth?  I...

    Outlaw Showdown

I went to the Outlaw Showdown this weekend, and I have to say it was great seeing so many kids working so hard with their cattle.  The Pee-wee showmanship was a blast to watch.  I'm already looking forward to the fall show, and I hope there is an even bigger crowd.

Wanted: used grooming chute in southcentral Kansas

My son is turning 9 tomorrow, and has his first steer this year.  He loves working with him, and I know we are going to be doing this for a long time.  I am looking for a used chute within 100-200 miles of Wichita.  I'm also interested in turbo fans, if anyone has any. Thank you segersmom

New show mom needs steer coat color advice

My son is showing his first steer in the county fair this year, and around here, it's very competitive.  We don't have the facilities to keep him inside during the day, and I was wondering if anyone had any advice on keeping the black black.  Sometimes I use sunscreen on my horses, and I used...
