The show wasn't  Judged the best , marginal on reading structure and the grand and reserve females  were not close to top end  cattle. Heck the grand female should have been beat in a average class.

I think both those new combs will have their place in the industry.  I am really looking forward to getting my hands on the wizard comb.  I think it's going to be a great showbarn tool.  The Alert could be a good product on hot days when cattle tend to get lazy in the ring.

I think a lot of people have tried the Durafan.  There is a reason why it's cheaper.  They flat out do not hold up.  The fan that I've had the best luck with holding up by far is the Turbo.  The cage lasts forever and the motor has heavier duty specs than the Schaefer.  I used to use Schaefers...

Sorry for the contradictory tips here but DO NOT use human dye.  Use only dye formulated for cattle.  Sullivan's Black Velvet is such and won't dry out your calf's skin.  Follow instructions on the pkg.  It's not hard to do.  and yes, wear a glove.
