self-catch head gate or a manual head gate?

I'm in the market for a squeeze chute and could use your advice or experience on choosing a self-catch or manual head gate?  Thanks in advance! This is a first time post for me, so please be kind in the event I'm not posting this correctly.

I might suggest posting this on the "Big Show" board rather than the Help board, it won't get seen much on this board.

I have a Priefert head gate that can be used as auto or manual. We always use it as manual as our animals are pretty quiet and to be honest, we couldn't get it to work as auto. The Vet even asked us if we figured it out because they couldn't figure out the one they had that was the same.

Thank you StagecoachCattle! Not only is this my first posting on here, it's my first time to ever use a forum, so I really appreciate your help.
