I really like Lover Boy to use on my sim-angus commercial cows and heifers to have a nice low birthweight calf that finishes at a good weight. I like Chosen One or Tricked Out to use on my bigger framed cows with some clubby in them for a heavily muscled hairy freak of a steer calf, heifers seem to be good quality but sometimes tend to be straighter with their structure.

I have yet to breed my own but I've loved almost everything I've seen from 1OAK! I've had three by him just myself, a great commercial cross steer, a super clubby winning steer, and now the second steer's full sister who's about 10 times better than he was

The only thing I can say bad about 1OAK is everyone I know that has used him hasn’t had a calf under 90 pounds and that’s used on all ranges of cow types and breed composition

I have one Loverboy bull calf he is long necked and deep (most of the depth I would say comes from the mother ) I have heard though that they don’t look great until about a year old but this calf is proving me wrong and I love the chosen one cattle I haven’t seen a ton of tricked out steers that I liked

I've heard some horror stories about his calves for sure, but no more than any other bulls. All of the calves I've had by him were 75-85 lbs completely unassisted out of biggg cows- but I for sure wouldn't use hikm on something I'm not 100% sure can handle a big calf
