calving season mood swings
« on: March 13, 2014, 07:19:19 AM »
Just a couple weeks into calving and weather hasn't been great but still able to get along.Out of first twenty we had had 1 C-Sec on heifer bred to easy calving low birth weight[68#] bull that weighed 97# I backwards upside down full breech ,one leg back, one pull probably could have had it but I got tired of waiting.Still 100% but with all the extra effort during bitter cold spell I am about wore out.Just seeing those little guys run and play makes it worth it.The main reason some people I know have jobs is so they can have something to complain about and even though I get frustrated when a cow takes me or one cant seem get started sucking or lose one when you know you did everthing possible its still one of the best times of the year.
