Lookiing at the calves out of old FR31 bull did you ever use a bull called Aiglon or his sone Tee Anchor Aiglon?  Theyb produced rancher type cattle and were easy calving not too big but easy to get along with.

Hello Mark, if you go way back in some of my pedigree's AIGLON was used by us quite a bit and worked very well with making females and structure was better than most of the full French bull's ...MEICHALIS  ranch in KYLE Texas USED HIM A LOT , SORRY ABOUT MY SPELLING ON THAT RANCH IN Texas ..I HAVE BEEN ASSOCIATED with them for over 50 year's and still can't spell it ..During the FRENCH CHAROLAIS era their were very few good ones ...The good cattle back in the  early 70's came from that MICHAELIS ranch IN TEXAS  , 4T , ASKEW'S and can't think of another one but TEXAS definitely had head start in the Charolais breed ...  IMO these ranch's had as good CHAROLAIS as we do now ..  IF you ever saw some of the females that these breeder's produced you would know
what I'm talking about off hand two guy's that would sure know are Gary Cross and Stan Cross ...Some of that era is not around now ...

Would like to thank those people on SP for their interest in our sale ...!!  Bulls averaged almost 5300 and many people went home with out cattle . Had some yearlings sell over average but the ranchers wanted Fall yearling and the 2 year olds ..!!

Working on next years crop and will have clubby sale in OCTOBER ..!!
