As a 4H/FFA Dad I never had good luck with any of the so called calving ease shorthorns. Much better success with an angus. If I had a heifer today I would try this one... Admittedly I have used his sire, but not him. I also like the 3ml sexed heifer semen...
Near here any roan costs you big discounts at a salebarn. I see no change in the pattern. Know your marketing options is my best advice. If your buyer is ok with color, your good, sale barn would cost you. Cool colored show animals will pay....
I havent looked at the results as I considered my bracket busted! It looks as thise the rest of you are even mosre busted! I better get a little gloating in before the next game or when I lose I will be last again!

I think the first Rate sons have added a little power to the angus deal if that is what you want. I like Blue chip, am crious about Primo, but there are a lot of them, and there are people who have a better handle on attributes of each bull than me. Hopefully some will chime in...
If I was you, I would be very excited to she how she does. She looks great! It may be too early to tell for sure, but it is always fun to have one that is off to a good start!
