    Multi-Min 90 Questions

I've been using it for several years on my cowherd for AI/ET. I give it to them one month before breeding. I think it does improve heats and conception, but I can't say for certain but I will continue using it. I also give it to calves that are weak at birth along with a B-complex shot.

    Heifers for reciepts

None, I wouldn't put an embryo in a heifer. I don't implant embryos in my cows until they are 4.

I live in south Texas, I've been wishing for that for three years....

Any thoughts on Red Simmental Bulls out there

I've heard reports from other breeders on Yukon's calves born this past thing and they said they came small and took off like weeds growing. I haven't seen any personally, but my Yukon calves will be here in a couple weeks!

    Polymelia in Angus cattle

This one's rampant. I've been able to avoid all the other defects but finally got stung by this one. I have a bull sale coming up in December so I'll be pulling hair as soon as that test is commercially available.

    SAV Brillance

He should work really well on exotic females. I used him on SimAngus heifers last year and they all came easy. The calves off of the SimAngus heifers weren't tremendous, but they were smaller framed females out of a CE bull as well. I used Brilliance on a handful of Simmental cows I have and...

New red Simm Bull CDI Rimrock 325Z

I'm almost certain it came from the dam's side.

New red Simm Bull CDI Rimrock 325Z

Be careful with Redestined, he has the spotting gene. I'm developing some bulls sired by him at my facility and they are really nice.

Breeding advice for my Simm heifer.......

My Top Grade calves have grown out very nicely, he may end up as my heaviest sire group or second. There's only a couple duds in the entire group and I blame the cow more than I do Top Grade. I used him again and with how things are going so far I foresee still using him.

    Synovex implants- what's the story?

I asked about them from my supplier a month ago and he said something along the lines of the plant has shut down and no one knows when production will resume. I've been using Compudose-C as a substitute but would rather use Synovex-C.

    Multi Min 90

I've used Multi Min or Min Max for several years now and it's a set part of our pre-breeding program now. I give Multi Min one month prior to breeding along with a vitamin ADE, deworming and any pre-breeding vaccinations.

    Top Grade

I have calves that were born in September and October. I'm very pleased with mine. They are sound, have good dispositions, and birth weights ranged from 60-90 lbs. I didn't use him on heifers but I think he should be ok for heifers. The only negative I have to say right now is he doesn't appear...

    Broker

They were pretty bad. Overall I thought the Upgrades looked best in the yards.

    Broker

I saw him in Denver. Looked awesome. The cattle up on the hill by him looked pretty good too. Saw some yearling bulls in the yards by him and some were down right dogs.
