None in my opinion, they just don't replicate look he put in his calves.
Years ago when I was making some decisions I decided to go the Bankroll route, not that it was a bad one, but his calves are not the same as Broker calves.
saw 5 units posted for sale on Facebook page Show Cattle USA yesterday. Not a sole had commented on it when I saw it. You might be in luck if you can find the post.
Not really.. Dream On is in a huge percentage of the pedigrees out there as it is. Meyer would be tempting, but I'm not sure I really see the added value of those older bulls. I think the type of cattle they created for their time is not the type of cattle desired right now.
Broker, but semen is limited and expensive. Not many bulls in the breed will add frame and keep one cool fronted or make her better. Steel Force would work and well, but I don't think he will add frame.
HPF Optimizer will size one up, but not overly clean fronted.

Have a straw of HPF Optimizer and SSC Shell Shocked that I may stick in a couple heifers to clean up the tank.
I weaned a show calf at 90 days a couple years ago. She did really well that year as a calf, but as a bred I am less than enthused with her. Not sure if I can blame the weaning early and hard feeding on her look as a bred or not.
Man if I was looking to go Angus and make some big broody style females I believe I'd look at the pure beef catalog and pick out a couple Duff bulls. Quite a few of them have caught my eye and I believe they could add power, softness, and a really good look.
Your welcome, and thanks for the compliment. I just looked up her pedigree, and if it helps you any I think if she were at my place I'd be looking hard at County O.
I like them, they are cool and stylish. Maybe not what I was picturing when I made the decision to breed the way I did. I will know more when these ETs hit the ground. The head size isn't horrible, but maybe not as small as I'd like it. I've noticed most of the calves I've seen have the same...
guess my question is what do you want to do with her calves?
I'd like to give her a little more mass in her lower rear third, and stretch her neck out a touch and clean it up.
County O will add the mass and the calves will be incredibly marketable. Copacetic will put a good front third on...
I have used Bankroll, and have a few more ET calves coming this spring. I have not used County O yet, but plan to breed my donors to him this spring.
In my opinion County O is making the better calves. They have a little longer and cleaner neck extension that comes out of the shoulders a...
