    Question about Golden Child

Had a Golden Child heifer about 3 days ago on the cows due date.  The calf weighed 88 lbs.  Decent heifer, good profile , good hair , stout enough for a heifer , but a little fine boned for my liking, maybe that is the Angus coming through.  Cows calves usually weigh in the 85-95 pound range so...

Bull for Club calf out of PB Angus?

We have had good luck with Alias on some of our plainer Angus Cows.  If they are sound and have a decent frame score he will definitely add some bone, width and gobs of hair.  They usually come out black on Angus cows also.

    hog help..

We had a show pig have similar symptoms at about the same size and it tunred out he had whip worms.  If you haven't wormed him you may want to look at that as an option.  Be carefull what kind of wormer you use though most of the injectables do not affect whip worms.

    Bushy Park Farm

Heard the calves look real nice but I am sure if you want to get in on those top 5 or ten you better brink a thick check Book.  I would exspect those top 5 to bring in that 20 to $50,000 range, similar to hartmans.

    Manchild Heifer : Opinions please

My experiences with Manchild are they get big.  As stated in an earlier post I think he breeds much like Hannibal and they need to be bred to smaller framed cows.  The calves are hairy and they have been good fronted but one other problem we have seen is they don't at least for us have enough...

Fall and Winter mineral or supplements

Those of you that use a loose mineral what are you using for the best results and what is the cost per 50lbs.  We are using a local mineral that we have had good results with but it is starting to get rather pricey.  Just looking for ideas on what has worked for others and what the costs are.

    Spastic Paresis

Does anyone know how Spastic pareseis works.  I assume it is a gentic disease but does it require both the sire and the dam to be carriers.  I beleive I have a calf that is developing this out of a sire that I would not exspect it from, though the dam would not surprise me.
